Circuit Protection Q & A

by @ 11:11 am. Filed under General

The Problem / The Solution

THE PROBLEM: Higher Rating Surface-Mount Fuses Have Not Been Available

Designers are packing more and more components onto a board, requiring circuits to carry currents as high as 20A or 30A. Protecting board-level devices from faults at these current levels presents a problem because a secondary side fuse with the required overcurrent rating often is not available.

THE SOLUTION: 456 Series Fuse Offers High-Amp Circuit Protection Compatible with Faster Pick and Place Electronics Assembly Processes

Addressing customer requests for smaller embedded device protection of higher-current applications, Littelfuse has launched a new series of 20A and 30A subminiature surface-mount fuses. They are the industry’s first 125V subminiature surface mount fuses with current ratings above 15A

Hey this was potentially one of the most effective articles I have read on the topic so far. I don’t know where you get all your data but I am impressed! I’m gunna send a few folks on over to check this out. Fantastic, just plain awesome. I’m have just started getting into crafting articles myself, nothing compared to your writing skills (doh) but I’d love for you to check out my article sometime! bowfelx series 7 treadmill
